UPDATE: there is a random bug that can lock the game due to the random game picker logic or maybe ad blockers for the leaderboard . Thought we fixed it. Guess not. lol. Just reload the page and it should clear.

Just Press Start - Minigames Guide

Welcome to "Just Press Start"! This guide explains all the minigames you'll encounter and how to play them. Each minigame has its own unique controls and objectives, but they all contribute to your overall score. Can you take the top spot on the leaderboard?!

| "Multiply" | Start Button clones into multiple fake buttons | Mouse to click | Find and click the real button among the decoys |

| "Duck Hunt" | Flying buttons move across the screen | Mouse to aim, click to shoot | Shoot as many buttons as possible within the time limit |

| "Breakout" | Classic brick-breaking game | A+D/Aroow Keys to move paddle | Destroy bricks by bouncing the ball off your paddle |

| "Asteroids" | Space shooter | Arrow keys/WASD to move, Space to shoot | Shoot asteroids to earn points |

## Controls Summary ##

- **Mouse Movement:** Used in all minigames for aiming or positioning

- **Left Mouse Button:** Used for clicking in Multiply and shooting in Duck Hunt and Asteroids.

- **Arrow Keys/WAD:** Used for movement in Asteroids and Breakout!

### Multiply ###

**Controls:** Mouse to click

- The start button will multiply into several identical-looking buttons

- Only one of them is the real button - the others are decoys

- You have 30 seconds to find and click as many real buttons as possible

- Each correct click earns you 10 points

- After each successful click, the buttons will shuffle again

- The real button will briefly flash green when clicked correctly

### Duck Hunt###

**Controls:** Mouse to aim crosshair, left-click to shoot

- Flying buttons move across the screen in random patterns

- You have 30 seconds to shoot as many as possible

- Each hit earns you 1 point

- The buttons will bounce off the edges of the screen, making them unpredictable

- Aim carefully - there's no penalty for missing, but don't waste time!

### Breakout ###

**Controls:** Mouse to move paddle left and right

- Move your paddle to bounce the ball and break bricks

- Each brick destroyed earns 10 points

- Don't let the ball fall off the bottom of the screen!

- Some bricks may release power-ups when destroyed

- There's a 5% chance of getting an extra ball when breaking a brick

- You have 30 seconds to score as many points as possible

### Asteroids ###

**Controls:** Arrow keys or AWD to move,  Mouse Left-click to shoot

- Control your spaceship and shoot incoming asteroids

- Each asteroid destroyed earns 10 points

- Avoid colliding with asteroids - it will end the game!

- New asteroids spawn as you destroy them

- You have 30 seconds to score as many points as possible

## Tips for Success

1. **Practice Makes Perfect:** Each minigame requires different skills - the more you play, the better you'll get!

2. **Score Matters:** Your cumulative score across all minigames determines your position on the leaderboard.

3. **Time Management:** All minigames have time limits. Focus on maximizing your points within the available time.
